Football Manager Classic 2014 PS Vita Slim Bundle

With Football Manager Classic 2014 all set for release for the PS Vita on April 11th, a new console bundle has now been announced which is due to arrive on April 17th.

The PS Vita Slim launched in the UK in February, 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the previous model, and now complete with an LCD screen to replace the OLED screen of the original design. Football Manager Classic 2014 is a big release for the PS Vita, allowing cross-save ability which will enable fans of the series to continue a save from their home computer on the go if they own the title on both platforms.

The Football Manager Classic 2014 PS Vita bundle will feature the PS Vita Slim, a 4GB memory card, and a digital copy of Football Manager Classic 2014.

Agent announce UK tour dates

Agent Kingdom of Fear Tour

London based progressive rock band Agent will be touring the UK later this month, and will also play a show in Berlin next month as well as performing at Rock Haven in Lincoln.

PES 2014 Free for Playstation Plus Subscribers

With Tomb Raider (PS3) having been free for PS Plus subscribers during the month of March, April now welcomes in another very exciting title to the range as PES 2014 becomes the latest PS3 title to become available to PS Plus subscribers.

2D side-scroller Mercenary Kings is the featured PS4 title this month, and it’s also a great month for PS Vita owners as MotoGP 13 is added to the instant game collection as well as Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and Hotline Miami, both of which are cross-buy titles so available on both PS3 and PS Vita.

PS Plus subscribers can also bag the new World Challenge gameplay mode for PES 2014 at a discounted price of £5.59.

UNKLE’s James Lavelle saw Radkey play their début London show at The Camden Barfly last year, booked the band as part of the Meltdown Festival that he is curating, and has now picked out their ‘Romance Dawn‘ single for the UNKLE treatment.

Lavelle had the following to say about picking out Radkey’s ‘Romance Dawn‘ for reconstruction:

Having not done an UNKLE remix for some time, Radkey’s ‘Romance Dawn’ seemed like the perfect track to come back with. This band have endless energy and excitement and you can’t buy that shit!

Get Even to feature virtual reality compatibility

Having previously developed multi-platform titles such as Painkiller: Hell & Damnation and Deadfall Adventures, Polish video games developer The Farm 51 is currently now working on Get Even, a game that is all set to utilise virtual reality devices.

Seeking to blur the boundaries between multiplayer and solo missions, Get Even will make use of virtual reality concepts in order to help further break new ground.

The Farm 51 CEO/Lead Designer Wojtek Pazdur had the following to say about the game:

The global reaction to Get Even’s January announcement was a welcome surprise for us. Now, as part of the new Greenlight campaign, it is time to share more details. In The Farm 51 we think of a video game world as an alternate reality, not that of an interactive movie. The exciting opportunities offered by Virtual Reality and developments in that sector offer a huge benefit to a game aimed to be as immersive as ours. Get Even has the potential to support the VR concept like no other title. This is why we want to be a part of this new revolution and is why Get Even can be a landmark title in its use.

Handguns - Life lessons

Pennsylvanian pop-punk band Handguns will release new full length album ‘Life Lessons‘ via Pure Noise Records on July 7th, and the band has now made a track from the album available for streaming in the form of ‘Heart Vs. Head‘.

Handguns are currently on the A Love Like Tour with All Time Low and Man Overboard in the USA, a tour which is set to wrap up at the beginning of May.

Earl Sweatshirt collaborating with skate shoe company Lakai

Lakai x Earl Sweatshirt

Having grown up skateboarding with Lakai team rider Nakel Smith in Los Angeles, Earl Sweatshirt of the Los Angeles based hip hop collective Odd Future is now to collaborate with Lakai Limited Footwear as the Lakai Camby shoe is to be released in four different Odd Future inspired colourways.

The design theme centres around the stripe pattern found in Odd Future’s iconic ‘Doughnut’ graphic, and coming from a skateboarding background Earl wanted at least one pair in the series to be suitable for skateboarding, so there are two all-canvas colours and two all-suede colours.

The shoes will be released in the next two weeks to UK skate shops, and in addition to this there will also be a series of t-shirts, hoodies, socks and bucket hats.
