Big Zuu Drops New Track to Celebrate the Launch of NBA 2K21

September 12, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

To celebrate the launch of NBA 2K21, British grime rapper Big Zuu has linked up with 2K in a brilliant collaboration which sees him release his exclusive new track, Everything Is Game.

Featuring real-life footage shot at Canterbury Crescent in Brixton, spliced with in-game footage from NBA 2K21; the official video for Everything Is Game is an impressive blending of video game action with real world basketball, and the track itself offers high intensity, great energy and is definitely well worth listening to.

Big Zuu had the following to say about collaborating with 2K for this one:

I have been a fan of the series for many years now. In addition to music and food, basketball has always been a huge passion of mine and seeing the sport come to life in the video game from 2K is just brilliant. This year, I got in touch with the guys at 2K and I penned this track just to celebrate the game’s launch. We shot the video on the court at Canterbury Crescent in Brixton and got to splice in the slammin’ new gameplay. It’s been great to collaborate with 2K on this, and I really hope my music fans, basketball fans and NBA 2K fans like what we’ve done.

Official Current Gen Gameplay Trailer Released for NBA 2K21

August 6, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

2K dropped an official gameplay trailer for NBA 2K21 today, giving us an idea of what we can expect from the game when it releases on current gen on September 4th.

The video hints at an updated Neighborhood, shows off a brand new shot meter that will be present in the game, and also confirms that NCAA teams will feature in NBA 2K21 with both UCLA and the Flordia Gators shown in the trailer.

With Stormy providing the musical backing, it’s definitely a very interesting first look at NBA 2K21’s gameplay and demonstrates that although a whole new console generation will soon be upon us; work is still being put in to make sure that NBA 2K21 provides something a little bit different from NBA 2K20 when it initially launches on current gen next month.

Kobe Bryant to grace the cover of NBA 2K21 in Mamba Forever Edition

July 5, 2020 by Rich 1 Comment

After previously featuring on the cover of NBA 2K10 and the legend edition of NBA 2K17; Kobe Bryant will now once again be gracing the cover of 2K’s basketball game, in a Mamba Forever edition of NBA 2K21 set to release on September 4th.

The passing of Kobe Bryant hit the world incredibly hard back in January when he was involved in a fatal helicopter crash that took the lives of all nine people onboard, and it had since been speculated that 2K Sports would look to memorialise the basketball icon in a legend edition of NBA 2K21.

Zion Williamson and Damian Lillard have also been named as cover stars for NBA 2K21, with the game all set for release on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X.

In addition to announcing Kobe Bryant as the cover star of NBA 2K21, 2K will also be providing a special Diamond or Amethyst Kobe to owners of NBA 2K20 that can now be acquired in the game’s MyTeam mode using the locker code NBA-2K21-MAMBA-FOREVER.

We honor Kobe Bryant as our #NBA2K21 Cover Athlete for the Current Gen Mamba Forever Edition & Next Gen Mamba Forever Edition 💜💛 Use this code for chance at Diamond or Amethyst Kobe.
