How To Use Women’s Players In FC 24 Career Mode

June 23, 2024 by Rich Leave a Comment

Women’s players were first added by EA back in FIFA 16, and it’s currently possible to play with women’s players in kick-off mode, seasons mode and Ultimate Team.

Although there isn’t currently a women’s specific career mode in EA FC, however; this tutorial will guide you through the process of how to transfer women’s players into men’s teams so that, in the absence of a full women’s career mode, you can at least still use women’s players in career mode.

Is EAFC the Worst “FIFA” Game in Years?

December 24, 2023 by Rich Leave a Comment

Since EA Sports FC 24 was released back in September, there has been a lot of talk online about how unenjoyable the game is to play. Why is it then that millions of people still persist with it?

A lack of competition could certainly be a major contributing factor. Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series (now eFootball) used to provide EA Sports with serious competition each year; in its current form, eFootball is not the serious challenger to EA Sports that it once was, however, and EA Sports’ grip on the football game market is now stronger than ever.

When you’re not able to get outside and play football, playing the sport in a video game instead can provide a fun alternative, and right now there aren’t too many options that allow you to do that. Football Manager is an extremely deep and impressive video game for exploring tactics and testing out your managerial credentials, it doesn’t allow you to actually take control of the players for yourself though, and as good as it is, it does therefore provide for quite a different experience.

Ultimate Team also has a firm grip on many, providing motivation to play the mode in the form of rewards for completing different objectives. It can be quite fun, but it’s also incredibly addictive, and with the ability to invest real world money to help improve your squad; there’s very real potential to spend big in this mode in your thirst for glory. Opening packs in this mode is a huge draw for some, and certainly another reason that could explain why people that don’t enjoy the game continue to keep sinking time into it.

There’s also a cycle of habit to consider. Do people continue to play the game because they gain genuine enjoyment from it, or are they playing it simply because it’s something that they’ve always done and therefore it’s something that they continue to find themselves drawn back into?

Can You Use Icons in EAFC 24 Career Mode?

September 25, 2023 by Rich Leave a Comment

Since FIFA 20, the annual Soccer Aid charity event has been acknowledged by EA Sports in the form of a Soccer Aid team being available in the rest of the world section in the game.

When the team was first added, it was possible to search for each player individually by name, and transfer them into different teams so that these players could then be used in career mode.

From FIFA 21 onwards, however, although the Soccer Aid team itself has still been featured in the game; it hasn’t been possible to transfer the players, and therefore hasn’t been possible to use them in career mode.

With the change of name for the series though, have things now changed for EA Sports FC 24, and is it now once again possible?

Unfortunately not, no… But you can still use the Soccer Aid team in kick-off mode, enabling you to make use of icons like Cantona, Zidane and Ronaldinho, and test them out prior to investing millions of coins in them in Ultimate Team.

Dynamic Moments

Dynamic moments will provide you with more realistic detail in those all important moments throughout your career, with open top parades through the city for example which will help add a bit of character when you win a trophy, and Ballon d’Or cut scenes which should help things feel especially real when you reach the peak of your powers in player career.

Everything We Know About EA Sports FC 24 for the Nintendo Switch

July 14, 2023 by Rich Leave a Comment

For the past few years, FIFA fans on the Nintendo Switch have had to settle for a ‘legacy edition’ of their favourite football game, featuring the same gameplay features and modes since FIFA 19, without any new development or significant enhancements.

There had been hope that perhaps things would change for the freshly rebranded EA Sports FC, however, and we do now know that, for the first time in years, the Nintendo Switch version of the game has received some serious upgrades.

For the first time in the series, the game will now be running on the Frostbite Engine, and with that comes the inclusion of PlayStyles optimised by Opta, a brand new addition across all platforms that will provide heightened authenticity in terms of how players look, feel and play.

Volta and Clubs will also both be coming to the Nintendo Switch for the very first time, you’ll be able to develop your own club legends in Ultimate Team with the inclusion of Evolutions (enabling you to complete a set of objectives to improve a players overall rating and help keep them competitive throughout the year), and you’ll also now be able to add women’s footballers to your Ultimate Team squads, creating your dream XI from a mix of both men’s and women’s footballers.

Rivals, Champs and Squad Battles will also all be present in Ultimate Team this year, and all of these various updates and additions should surely help make EA Sports FC 24 for the Nintendo Switch stand out strongly as a substantial upgrade over its predecessors.

EA Sports FC 24 for the Nintendo Switch is officially set for release on September 29th.
