Aristomenis Tsirbas

Official Battle for Terra Trailer

February 21, 2009 by Rich Leave a Comment

Battle For Terra PosterBattle for Terra, which was originally released in 2007 under the name of Terra, is to finally receive a large scale US release on May 1st 2009. Battle for Terra is a computer generated science fiction film which looks into the lives of Senn and Mala, two teenagers that live on the planet of Terra; a very peaceful planet until humans hit and disrupt the harmony. The voice of Senn is provided by Justin Long, Mala’s voice meanwhile is spoken by Evan Rachel Wood.

Directed by Aristomenis Tsirbas, the film has taken a great length of time to reach the masses of America; it’s coming soon though, and from the looks of the trailer, a very good film it is too. The animation looks to be excellent, and for those that love a strong visual display then Battle for Terra is sure to impress.

You may know Justin Long from his parts in such films as Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Accepted, and He’s Just Not That into You; you may also recognise him as the voice of Alvin in Alvin and the Chipmunks though, and he certainly has a fantastic voice for use in films such as these.

Battle for Terra is not likely to be a huge box office smash, it does look to be a good entertaining film though, and fans of science fiction/animation films should definitely seek to check this one out. The film definitely looks very promising, and the following is the official Battle for Terra trailer:
