The Crimea will release a new double album ‘Square Moon‘ at the end of July, a track from which is now available for free download.
‘Square Moon‘ is the first new album from The Crimea since ‘Secrets of the Witching Hour‘, an album which the band first released for free download to great success back in 2007, with more than 108,000 people opting to download the release.
The band is now back and ready to take on the world with their latest studio album ‘Square Moon‘ which will be released through Alcopop! Records on July 29th, and ‘The Only Living Boy and Girl‘ is the track now available for free download, a track which you can listen to and download below.

Jared MacEachern, formerly of Sanctity, has been announced as the new bassist of Machine Head. Jared formerly filled in for the role back in 2007 whilst supporting Machine Head on tour with his previous band, and has now been unveiled as an official new member of the band on a full time basis.
More than 400 people applied to become the band’s new bassist, a list that the band then whittled down to a shortlist of 7 that’d fly out to Oakland in order to spend time with the band and perform a few tracks with them.
Machine Head drummer Dave McClain had the following to say about Jared MacEachern’s audition to become the band’s new bassist:
Jared came in to the audition and just killed it! Besides being able to nail the bass and vocal harmonies, he also had the vibe and personality to make it feel like we were a BAND again. It was a great feeling and we all knew he was the guy.
The band has already begun rehearsing with Jared MacEachern for the upcoming Rockstar Mayhem U.S. tour, and Jared will soon relocate from North Carolina to Northern California in order to begin the pre-production process for Machine Head’s upcoming eighth studio album.

Hawthorne Heights is a band that has come a long way since breaking through with ‘The Silence in Black and White‘ back in 2004; the band has matured a huge amount in the last 9 years and they’re now ready to release fifth studio album ‘Zero‘ through Red Entertainment on June 25th.

Bridge Nine Records’ artist Alpha & Omega is on tour with Terror right now, and you’ll currently find the bands playing a whole host of gigs and festivals across Europe.
In addition to touring with Terror, Alpha & Omega will also be hitting the UK in July, performing a number of shows in cities such as London, Glasgow, and Manchester.
