Lo-fi alt rockers Giant Drag will be hitting the road for the last time later this week as the band embarks on its final ever UK tour.
Giant Drag’s Annie Hardy had the following to say about the tour and what lies ahead for her in the future:
I want to engage people once again and make the rest of the world care as well. Basically the last couple years of my life were pure hell and I spent it (and my “success” period of GD) a slave to prescription drugs, only to go to rehab last October to get clean. Charlotte Froom and Tennesse Thomas from The Like will be helping me to reform GD for a select few shows to promote the record and say goodbye to the band properly so I can concentrate on my new project Annie Hardy and the Psychos as well as my pet project PnP who will also be finishing up recording EPs with Joe Cardamone of The Icarus Line.
The London date of this final Giant Drag tour will be particularly poignant, a special RIP Giant Drag funeral service complete with commemorative programmes.

Bring Me The Horizon will be heading out on tour in late October, starting in the UK before working their way into mainland Europe for a large number of shows that will see them through into December.
Pierce The Veil and Sights & Sounds will be supporting the band on this huge European tour, with Pierce The Veil frontman Vic Fuentes having the following to say about hitting the road with Bring Me The Horizon and Sights & Sounds:
My prediction is that touring Europe / UK with our best friends is going to be insanity every single night! Our last trip of shows over there made for some of some of the craziest and most entertaining nights we have ever had on stage as a band, and we’ve been counting down the days till this next tour. It is also a real honour to share the stage with BMTH in their home country, as well as play for our amazing fans across Europe and even a few other cities we’ve never ventured before. We’ll be hitting the stage with a full production as well as new songs that the UK and Europe have never heard us play live before. So pumped for this tour and can’t wait to see all of our fan’s faces again.

With the Terminator franchise all set for a reboot, Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor is now onboard to direct the first film in the trilogy, with filming to begin in January 2014.
As well as directing the Thor sequel, Taylor also has a strong record in the TV world, directing episodes of successful TV series’ such as Game of Thrones, Mad Men, and The Sopranos.
Having had a brief digital appearance in Terminator Salvation, Arnold Schwarzenegger will return in his human form for the Terminator reboot, although exact details of what role the actor is to perform in the upcoming film are yet to be confirmed.
Screenwriter’s Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier have already been pencilled in to write the script, and the film is currently scheduled for release on June 26th 2015.

Sonic Boom Six will digitally release new single ‘The High Cost of Living‘ via Xtra Mile Recordings on October 28th, and the single has now been given an official video, directed by Carl Shanahan.
The video for ‘The High Cost of Living‘ is the first to be featured on the band’s new VEVO page, and has already amassed more than 70,000 views since being uploaded on September 1st.
