Dead Ending join Bridge Nine Records

Dead Ending

Chicago’s hardcore supergroup Dead Ending have officially signed to Bride Nine Records and will release their ‘DE III‘ EP through the label in April

Featuring members of Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Articles of Faith and All Eyes West, Dead Ending have certainly got a very impressive lineup and it’ll be interesting to hear how the third EP turns out with its guest vocal appearances from the likes of Jake Burns (Stiff Little Fingers) and Jeff Pezzati (Naked Raygun, The Bomb).

Silver Snakes will release their new album ‘Year Of The Snake‘ later this year, and the band have now officially unveiled the cover art (which can be found above) and also the tracklist for the album.

Alive Like Me join the Rise Records family

Alive Like Me

Oregon based rock band Alive Like Me have officially joined the Rise Records family, and their début album, which will be mixed by Dan Korneff (Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Paramore) will be out in early summer 2014.

Maleficent (Angelina Jolie)

Disney’s Maleficent is due for release later this year and the new Angelina Jolie film has now received a new trailer as we’re treated to further coverage of just what the film will entail.

Complete with a cover of ‘Once Upon a Dream‘ from Lana Del Rey as its musical accompaniment, this latest trailer for Maleficent is an incredibly haunting one that certainly makes for extremely compelling viewing.

CITIES release official lyric video for ‘The Early Hours’

Tunbridge Wells based rock band CITIES have released an official lyric video for the track ‘The Early Hours‘, taken from their debut self-titled EP which is out now.

Frontman Ryan Checksfield had the following to say about ‘The Early Hours‘:

This song is about conforming to mainstream society and how this particular girl has never felt comfortable. Everything she sees in life makes her second guess and feel uneasy, she’s trying to figure out how to break free from the normal standards of living that society imposes on us so that she can be herself.

CITIES only actually formed in September 2012, already though they have supported the likes of Mallory Knox, Lower than Atlantis, Funeral for a Friend, and Arcane Roots, and the future looks to be extremely bright for this young band from Kent.

Stream Of Mice & Men’s ‘Restoring Force’

Of Mice & Men will release third studio album ‘Restoring Force‘ via Rise Records on January 27th, and the album has now been made available for streaming in its entirety a week early via Rock Sound.

‘Restoring Force‘ is Of Mice & Men’s third studio album to date and is the follow up to the band’s 2011 release ‘The Flood‘. The album has been recorded at House of Loud in New Jersey and produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Papa Roach, A Day To Remember, Breaking Benjamin).

The band will embark upon a European tour later this year, with support from Issues and Beartooth. A Full list of Of Mice & Men’s April 2014 tour dates can be found below:
