Beans on Toast to release Record Store Day ‘Best of Toast’ 10″ Vinyl

Beans on Toast will be celebrating Record Store Day this year with the release of a limited edition ‘Best of Toast‘ 10″ vinyl.

The release will be limited to 300 pressings, made available specially for Record Store Day on April 19th.

‘Best of Toast‘ will feature one track from each of the Beans on Toast albums to date, one of which will be ‘Can’t Take Another Earthquake‘, a track that you can take a listen to below:

Only Crime sign to Rise Records

Only Crime

Only Crime, featuring the punk/hardcore heavyweights Russ Rankin (Good Riddance), Aaron Dalbec (Bane/Converge), Bill Stevenson (Black Flag/Descendents/All), Dan Kelly (The Frisk/Tegan And Sara) and Matt Hoffman (Modern Life Is War), have signed with Rise Records and will release their new album, ‘Pursuance‘, on May 12th 2014.

‘Pursuance‘ is the band’s first new album since 2007 and third to date, and to celebrate the release of this brand new studio album they will be touring the UK/Europe for the first time since 2010 this summer with special guests Astpai.

Every Time I Die enter GodCity Studio with Kurt Ballou

Every Time I Die

New York hardcore group Every Time I Die are currently recording new material at GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts, working with producer Kurt Ballou of Converge ahead of their stint on the US Warped Tour 2014.

The band recently toured the UK with A Day To Remember on the House Party Tour and will now get to work on their next studio release.

Every Time I Die vocalist/lyricist Keith Buckley had the following to say about entering the studio with Kurt Ballou:

Kurt Ballou had always intimidated the living shit out of me, so I was overjoyed when the decision was made to record our next record with him at GodCity and I mean that sincerely. I’ve been a fan of his work for over a decade. His records are terrifying and moving and they sound like they were written and recorded under great duress, which is exactly how this style of music should be made. This month we join the pantheon. I couldn’t be more excited to see what he helps us learn about our own band that we didn’t realise for the past 15 years.

Beastmilk announce March 2014 tour plans

Beastmilk - Climax

Finnish rock band Beastmilk will be coming to the UK later this month and will be performing three shows as they take in London, Manchester and Nottingham.

Beastmilk released their debut album, ‘Climax‘, at the end of 2013, receiving much support from the rock press as well as from the likes of The Guardian, Pitchfork, Stereogum, NME and The Fly.

The following is a full list of shows that Beastmilk are all set to play this month in the UK:

24th March – The Lexington – London

CHVRCHES Remix SOAK’s ‘Blud’

Born in Belfast but raised in Derry, Bridie Monds-Watson is an incredible young talent that is still only 17 years old. Going by the stage name of SOAK, the young artist is the first signing to CHVRCHES’ Goodbye Records, and CHVRCHES have now done a remix of her track ‘Blud’ which can be heard below.

SOAK will be coming to England later this year when she will headline a show at St Pancras Old Church on April 10th, and she has already picked up extensive Radio 1 airplay for her ‘Blud‘ single, officially due for release via Goodbye Records on March 17th.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 was officially released today, and Konami has released a new video for the game that takes a look at the new mastery system within the game.

The new system is integral to combat within the new game, as Dracula begins in a weakened state and you must gradually extend his abilities as you progress your way through the game, solving puzzles and killing enemies.

The Walking Dead Season Two Episode 2

Episode 2 of The Walking Dead: Season Two video game will be coming out soon, and Telltale Games has now released a teaser trailer for the second episode which is officially due to drop next month.

Continuing the story that began in Season One, you are Clementine, a young survivor in a world gone to hell. The dead have risen to feast on the living, and the living can no longer be trusted in a world where everyone is only out for themselves.

The new chapter of the game will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, PC/Mac and iOS, and the teaser trailer for Episode 2: A House Divided can be viewed below:
