Me Vs. Hero release new song ‘Marks of a Slave’ for free download

April 29, 2014 by Rich Leave a Comment

Me Vs Hero

It has been four years now since the release of Me Vs. Hero’s ‘Days That Shape Our Lives‘ début album, the band will this year release their long awaited follow-up though as they look to repeat the success that surrounded their first.

‘Marks Of A Slave‘ is the first track to be taken from Me Vs. Hero’s forthcoming second album ‘I’m Completely Fine‘, and the new song from the band has now been made available for free download.

The band had the following to say about the new song/album:

It’s taken a long long time and pushed us more than people know, but we finally have an album that we couldn’t be more proud of. We want to thank everyone who’s stuck by us for all their patience and as a gift, we are giving away a track from from our second album ‘I’m Completely Fine’ which is due out later in the year. ‘Marks of a Slave’ is one of our favourites from the LP, we hope people feel the same. Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Cheers,

Me Vs Hero

April 25, 2014 by Rich Leave a Comment

Having previously only been available within the Xbox One and Xbox 360 editions of the game, the Jamais-Vu mission for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will now be going multi-platform as it becomes available via a free update from May 1st for both PS3 and PS4. The MGS1 Déjà-Vu mission meanwhile, previously a Playstation exclusive, will become available on Xbox 360/Xbox One the same day.

The MGS1 Déjà-Vu mission reproduces the reduced polygon graphical style of the original game for the PS One, the Jamais-Vu mission meanwhile sees you take control of the cyborg ninja, Raiden.

With the game having been released just over a month ago, a new mission becoming available for the title on all platforms now means that fresh life is to be breathed into the game for all those that own it which should surely put a smile on the face of many.

The Story So Far to release new ‘Songs Of’ acoustic EP

April 25, 2014 by Rich Leave a Comment

The Story So Far - Songs Of

The Story So Far will release an acoustic EP titled ‘Songs Of’ on June 16th, with the new EP to be released via Pure Noise Records.

In the last six months the band have completed a national headlining tour in the U.S., two tours in Europe, and also played dates in New Zealand and Australia. It’s been a hectic time for The Story So Far just lately, and with a hectic tour schedule coming up as they play all of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour on the main stage, it certainly doesn’t seem as though the band will be slowing things down too much any time soon.

Guitarist Will Levy had the following to say about the new ‘Songs Of’ EP:

This was something we wanted to do to keep things fresh and hop in the studio for fun. We had a good time trying out new things that were different for us.

The following is the full tracklisting for The Story So Far’s ‘Songs Of’ EP:

  1. The Glass
  2. Navy Blue
  3. All Wrong
  4. Bad Luck
  5. Waiting in Vain (Bob Marley cover)
