Both Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and PES 2015 will feature Kojima Productions’ FOX Engine, with Konami using this year’s gamescom event to showcase major advances in both video games.

Martin Schneider, General Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. had the following to say about the announcement:

With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and PES 2015 we will be proudly presenting two of our strongest brands at Europe´s biggest games show, to a huge audience keen for new details. Both games show the commitment and energy Konami is bringing to the new formats. We look forward to sharing such important releases with the huge audience at the most vital European event in the gaming calendar.

gamescom will be held in Cologne between August 13th-17th.

Minus The Bear to release new LP of rarities

Minus The Bear

Minus The Bear will release a new LP via Big Scary Monsters on October 6th in the form of ‘Lost Loves‘, featuring rare tracks that weren’t included for whatever reason on ‘Planet of Ice‘, ‘OMNI‘ and ‘Infinity Overhead‘.

Bassist Cory Murchy had the following to say about the new album and the decision to put these songs together as a collection:

Inevitably some of your favourite songs are going to be cut in the necessity of creating the right sequence for that particular time. Regardless of the reason they weren’t included, it wasn’t for lack of love and appreciation of the songs themselves. Perhaps it’s because they didn’t make the past albums that they fit so seamlessly together.

The tracklist for ‘Lost Loves‘ is as follows:
