Plenty of teams have been champions of England throughout the years, but who are the best ones to manage within FC 25 career mode? What are the most challenging teams to bring success to within the game, and what rebuilds are going to feel the most rewarding?
We’re here taking a look at 12 teams that you may just find a lot of fun to manage in FC 25.
Whenever a new game is released, people are always quick to search for exploits, and this is certainly no different with the latest Pokémon themed mobile game, Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Pokémon TCG Pocket recently received its official worldwide release, and players have been quick to come up with theories over potential exploits and pack methods to help maximise your returns.
The ‘bent pack’ method is one such potential exploit, whereby some packs are visually different from the others, featuring crimpled corners, just as they might if you were to pick them up from a shop, or how they might sometimes appear when you remove them from a booster tin.
Is there any validity to the claims that packs with bent corners will provide you with a greater chance of receiving something good though? Probably not. It’s a fun thought though, and is something to potentially look out for when you’re playing the game that might help you wile away a few extra minutes in your quest to avoid your responsibilities and seek out that dopamine hit of packing a shiny Charizard or whatever other rare Pokémon you might be seeking out in the game.

With the recent unveiling of the Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo; Nintendo has been brewing some serious musical goodness lately, and they’ve also now unveiled a brand new app in the form of the Nintendo Music app, allowing its users to stream/download songs and even keep listening to them on their smart device when they’re offline.
Featuring music from Super Mario Bros right through to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; the Nintendo Music app has a vast multitude of different options, allowing you to explore your way through 40 years of Nintendo history, ranging from retro blasts, all the way to modern toe tappers.
You can build your own personal playlists, share them with others, or even choose to browse your way through carefully curated playlists created by Nintendo.
Nintendo Music is available now on iOS and Android, at no additional cost for Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members in Europe.

Featuring contributions from the likes of Trivium’s Matt Heafy, Killswitch Engage’s Howard Jones and While She Sleeps’ Sean Long (amongst others), Cult of the Lamb: Hymns of the Unholy is now out and available for download on all major music platforms. A vinyl copy of the album is also now available for pre-order, estimated to be shipping in March 2025.
Matt Heafy, who as well as being the guitarist and lead vocalist of Trivium, can also sometimes be found streaming over on Twitch, had the following to say about the project:
Video games have always been an important part of my life, so it’s been amazing to work with the Massive Monster team and turn Cult of the Lamb’s iconic soundtrack into a metal album. There’s such a natural link between video games, heavy metal and the game’s themes that a collaboration like this just makes sense. I hope fans of the game have as much fun listening to this as I did writing and performing my parts, and I hope the metal community and anyone who might not have played Cult of the Lamb before embraces this as a standalone album and checks out the game!

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 20th 2025, complete with enhanced visuals and added story elements that’ll really help set the game apart from the original Wii U title that first launched in Japan in April 2015.
It may have been a decade, but from the trailer that Nintendo just put out; it’s definitely looking like Xenoblade Chronicles X is about to return in style and is going to be well worth picking up.

You can currently transfer Zidane to any club in FC 25, enabling you to use him at any team, both in career mode and in kick off mode. Anyone that pre-ordered the game is able to use Zidane in player career mode, but with this method; you’ll also be able to use him in manager mode.
If you want to use him as a manager in the game, you can start a player career mode with him and immediately have him retire, or alternatively; you can put him on any team of your choosing for use in manager career mode. This video shows you exactly how to achieve that.
The Marvel Rivals beta recently came to a close (which we actually had a chance to play, thoughts on which can be found above), and it’s now been confirmed that the game will officially launch on December 6th of this year.
All heroes will be unlocked and free to play right from launch, and there will of course be plenty of further characters from the Marvel universe added in the future.
You can check out the official launch trailer for the game below:
Having put a good few hours into Marvel Rivals beta last week; as a Marvel fan, I have to say that I was quietly impressed with what I played and actually felt quite sad when the beta ended.
There were plenty of characters to choose from, with a variety of different abilities on show, and the different characters felt pretty well balanced and well thought through.
There were times when the gameplay did feel quite frantic and I personally struggled to keep up with the pace of it all; even when the action verged upon overwhelming with how fast it all was, however, I was still having fun playing it and my overall experience of the game remained positive.
Is this a game that I can see myself coming back to and playing again in the future? Absolutely. And if NetEase Games continue to keep adding further characters from the Marvel Universe in the future then it’s very possible that I’ll be doing so for a long time to come.
Is it the most adventurous hero shooter ever created? No. It definitely keeps things quite simple. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing though; this game doesn’t try and overcomplicate things, it just gives you bright, beautiful, vibrant locations, with a heavy helping of Marvel characters to explore and experiment with.
Marvel Rivals will officially launch on December 6th, and if you have any level of interest in hero shooters/the Marvel Universe? I 100% recommend giving this one a go and seeing what you think.
Icons have now been confirmed for FC 25 career mode, with Andrea Pirlo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Kelly Smith and Thierry Henry all set to be playable within player career mode.
Pre-ordering the game will provide you with access to three further icons, with R9, David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane the chosen three to be included as a pre-order bonus.
Women’s football has also been confirmed for FC 25 career mode, with the ability to manage women’s teams within England, France, Germany, Spain, or the United States. The UEFA Women’s Champions League will also be fully licensed in the game, and you’ll even have the ability to switch seamlessly between managing women’s teams and men’s teams.
FC 25 is officially set to launch on September 27th.
