Football Manager 2021 is Coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One

September 24, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

We previously speculated that Football Manager 2021 may well be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X when a statement on the official Football Manager website from Sports Interactive studio director Miles Jacobson was put out that “Our games will be on more platforms and available on more stores than ever before when they’re released later this year“. It has now officially been confirmed though that Football Manager 2021 will be available on Xbox Series X/S, and will even be available on Xbox One, too.

This is the first time in over a decade that Football Manager will be available on Xbox, with the Football Manager 2021 Xbox Edition all set to arrive later this year in December 2020.

Football Manager Touch will also be returning to the Nintendo Switch, and the official PC/Mac release date has now been confirmed to be November 24th.

FIFA 21 Demo Cancelled – Why is There No Demo for FIFA 21?

September 21, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

It was expected that EA Sports would be releasing a FIFA 21 demo this week, with multiple different sources claiming that the demo would be dropping tomorrow (September 22nd).

Despite these previous claims, however, it has now been confirmed that there will in fact be no FIFA 21 demo whatsoever, with EA Sports claiming that this move will therefore allow them to focus their time on “delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles”.

We aren’t releasing a demo for FIFA 21.

Instead we’ve made the decision to focus our development team’s time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles.

We look forward to EA PLAY members jumping in 10 days from now and launching the game Oct 9.

— EA SPORTS FIFA (@EASPORTSFIFA) September 21, 2020

FIFA 21 will be available to play via EA Play from October 1st, with a subsequent full official release date of October 6th.

With no ability to play the game prior to that; if you’re currently undecided as to whether or not you’d like to pick the game up and were relying on the FIFA 21 demo to help you make your decision? Your best bet now is to play the 10 hour trial on EA Play when it becomes available on October 1st (EA Play is available at a cost of £3.99 a month, or £19.99 for a 12 month membership).

What are your thoughts on EA’s decision to cancel the FIFA 21 demo?

FIFA 21 Demo Out Next Week?

September 17, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

We previously posted a video about the lack of changes to Pro Clubs for FIFA 21 (video can be seen above – please do subscribe to us on YouTube if you’re not already doing so!), there are plenty of changes and new features coming to FIFA 21 career mode though, and of course a fresh new set of cards to be collected in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

Before we get to the full release on October 6th, however, we still have the demo to come yet, and based on its release date in previous years; we should see the demo dropping some time around September 22nd.

Last year, the FIFA 20 demo dropped on September 10th, exactly two weeks before the game’s official launch on September 24th, the previous year the demo was released on September 13th, 15 days before FIFA 19, and it’d be very surprising if we don’t see a similar sort of schedule being adhered to for FIFA 21, too.

If the FIFA 21 demo isn’t released on the 22nd? At the very latest, by our reckoning we should be able to get our hands on it by September 25th. Either way; the FIFA 21 demo is very nearly upon us, and by this time next week, we should all be able to play it on our respective consoles. Bring it on!

Big Zuu Drops New Track to Celebrate the Launch of NBA 2K21

September 12, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

To celebrate the launch of NBA 2K21, British grime rapper Big Zuu has linked up with 2K in a brilliant collaboration which sees him release his exclusive new track, Everything Is Game.

Featuring real-life footage shot at Canterbury Crescent in Brixton, spliced with in-game footage from NBA 2K21; the official video for Everything Is Game is an impressive blending of video game action with real world basketball, and the track itself offers high intensity, great energy and is definitely well worth listening to.

Big Zuu had the following to say about collaborating with 2K for this one:

I have been a fan of the series for many years now. In addition to music and food, basketball has always been a huge passion of mine and seeing the sport come to life in the video game from 2K is just brilliant. This year, I got in touch with the guys at 2K and I penned this track just to celebrate the game’s launch. We shot the video on the court at Canterbury Crescent in Brixton and got to splice in the slammin’ new gameplay. It’s been great to collaborate with 2K on this, and I really hope my music fans, basketball fans and NBA 2K fans like what we’ve done.

Machine Gun Kelly – Concert For Aliens Review

August 16, 2020 by Rich Leave a Comment

Not only does Travis Barker feature on drums for this one, but there is in fact a real blink-182 vibe cutting right through the very heart it. Concert For Aliens has such an unashamedly Enema of the State era blink sound and I for one am very much here for it!

There’s just such a strong sense of excitement and lust for life exuding from the song. It’s an extremely fun listen, great to bounce along to, and although it will probably never win any awards for originality? It’s a very good pop-punk song nonetheless and if you’re a fan of the genre then it’s definitely well worth giving this one a listen!

If Matt Skiba ends up leaving blink-182 and Tom DeLonge isn’t the one that steps up to replace him, could this be something close to how the future of blink-182 may sound? Who knows…

One thing’s for sure though; Machine Gun Kelly’s Concert for Aliens has me extremely excited to hear his Tickets to My Downfall album in its entirety, a sure sign that this latest single has served its purpose, stepping up the hype very nicely as we edge ever closer to that album’s September 25th release date.
