July 24, 2011 by Rich Leave a Comment

Stronger Than Me

‘Stronger Than Me’ from the ‘Frank’ album was where it all started for Amy Winehouse; the track was released in late 2003 as her first single as a major label artist, a track that earned her this appearance on Jools Holland.

‘Stronger Than Me’ was not Amy’s most successful hit, it was the starting point for her as an artist in the spotlight however, with the ‘Frank‘ album going on to become 3x Platinum in the UK.

Rehab

The biggest hit of her career, ‘Rehab’ was a top 10 success on both sides of the Atlantic, hitting number 7 in the UK and number 9 in the US.

Amy Winehouse enjoyed great success with ‘Rehab’, earning her chart success all throughout the world.

Valerie

When Amy Winehouse teamed up with Mark Ronson in 2007, she was in for another smash hit as the pair covered The Zutons’ successful single ‘Valerie’, taking it to number 2 in the UK charts; 7 places higher than The Zutons themselves managed to go with the track.

Amy Winehouse later had further success with ‘Valerie’ as she covered it as a solo artist for Radio 1’s Live Lounge, with this cover of the track also entering the UK singles chart.

You Know I’m No Good

Her second US Hot 100 success, Amy Winehouse reached number 77 with ‘You Know I’m No Good’ in 2007, also reaching number 18 with the track in the UK singles chart.

‘You Know I’m No Good’ was to be Amy Winehouse’s last Hot 100 hit within her lifetime.

Tears Dry on Their Own

Her second biggest UK success as a solo artist, ‘Tears Dry on Their Own’ reached number 16 in the UK singles chart, with Amy Winehouse’s ‘Tears Dry on Their Own’ spending nineteen weeks total inside the UK singles chart.

Back To Black

‘Back To Black’ was a success in several countries throughout Europe, performing particularly well in Austria and Germany where it was a top 10 success.

In her homeland of the UK, Amy Winehouse reached number 25 with ‘Back To Black’.
