Legendary Shack Shakers July Tour Dates

The Legendary Shack Shakers recently released new album ‘AgriDustrial‘, and will be hitting the UK in July in order to test out the new material on the live circuit.

‘AgriDustrial‘ is the statement of an American band fighting back against a society gone mad with greed and the usurpation of basic human dignities. Legendary Shack Shakers really means business with this album, and fuelled with passion the band is sure to put on one hell of a UK tour in July.

We Are The Ocean September/October Tour Dates

Hassle Records’ We Are The Ocean will be hitting the road at the end of September for the Cutting Our Teeth Tour 2010, starting with a date at Southampton’s Joiners venue. From there the band will then progress on to play at the Tunbridge Wells Forum as they go on to play a total of 20 dates throughout the month of October.

Having seen the band live in action at the Slam Dunk Festival recently, we can most definitely say that We Are The Ocean is a band that comes highly recommended by Alt-UK, and we would most definitely suggest that you head along to see the band at least once on this tour.

Feeder October Tour

Welsh rock band Feeder is to hit the road in October, playing a total of eight dates throughout the UK. The tour will begin with a date at Leeds Metropolitan University on October 21st, and will ultimately close with another University date as the band plays Southampton University on the 31st.

The Gaslight Anthem June Tour

The Gaslight Anthem is touring in June and be found headlining a number of shows across the UK, as well as playing at Hard Rock Calling, Hyde Park in support of Pearl Jam on June 25th.

The band is currently working on a video for new single ‘American Slang‘ which is due for release on June 14th, and this short tour will then follow a week later as The Gaslight Anthem takes to the UK. The Gaslight Anthem will be returning to these shores later this year for the Reading and Leeds festivals.

The Candle Thieves Sunshine And Other Misfortunes Tour

Peterborough’s The Candle Thieves will be hitting the road on May 22nd for a twelve date tour of the country, taking in venues such as Brighton’s Pav Tav and Nottingham’s Spanky Van Dykes.

The tour will begin with a co-headlining show at Hastings’ Brass Monkey venue along with Stars & Sons, and the band will then progress to complete a further eleven tour dates.

The tour is in support of the band’s recently release ‘Sunshine and Other Misfortunes‘ debut album, and with the band sure to put on a powerful string of shows this is most definitely not a tour to be missed.

Harrys Gym May 2010 Tour Dates

Norwegian Rock/Pop group Harrys Gym is hitting the UK next week, and can be seen at a number of different venues throughout the country.

Three of the band’s six dates are to be played in London, in addition to this however Harrys Gym can also be caught in Tunbridge Wells, Birmingham, and York.

The band is all set to officially release its self-titled debut album here in the UK on May 10th, and this short tour will then follow as the band looks to get its music out there to a UK crowd.

Cancer Bats and Bring Me The Horizon September 2010 Tour Dates

Having not long finished a tour of the UK, Canadian hardcore punk band Cancer Bats already has plans to return as they have nine tour dates arranged for September with Bring Me The Horizon.

The band is actually back again in June to play Download, this will be Cancer Bats’ next proper tour of the UK however and is all set to begin in Oxford on September 21st.

Bring Me The Horizon will be hitting the Warped Tour between June and August, they’ll be back for September however and the shows involving these two bands will no doubt be absolutely packed full of energy.

Cancer Bats released third studio album ‘Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones‘ earlier this year, Bring Me The Horizon meanwhile will release its own third studio release later on this year in August.

Although there’s no London date scheduled for the shows involving both Bring Me The Horizon and Cancer Bats (with additional support from Tek-One), Bring Me The Horizon will be playing at London’s Relentless Garage on October 1st.

The Like London Shows

All female rock group The Like has some London shows coming up, and will be playing a number of gigs throughout the capital between April 30th and May 5th.

The band is all set to release new single ‘He’s Not A Boy’ through Downtown/Polydor at the end of May, with the single available to purchase for download and as a limited edition 7” from May 31st.

Tweak Bird May 2010 Tour Dates

Illinois based rock band Tweak Bird is hitting the UK in May and will be playing five dates between May 12th and May 23rd. With three dates in London, the band will also be hitting Birmingham and Brighton also.

Tweak Bird is all set to release its debut album later this year through Souterrain Transmissions, complete with production team Deaf Nephews (Melvins’ Dale Crover and Big Business’ Toshi Kasai) at the helm.
